אינה רק מלאכת מחשבת, אלא עשיה ארוכה
היא. ואתם היושבים כאן אצל זה ההיכל מבקשים אתם את ג'ורג' ביזה ולא את אותם הדורשים להשמיעכם את הרהורי לבם. ואנו אמרנו, אחוז בזה ואף מזה אל תנח ידך. בין הנפת שרביט אחת לחברתה, בין הופעתו של אומן
זה וחברו, נבקש כולנו את כבודו של ארגון
שכולנו חבים ביקרו וכולנו רוצים בכבודו. אותו
ארגון המבקש להביא שמחה עת יעביר יולדת לחדר הלידה ואותו ארגון שיציל חיי אדם, בין
כעניין שבשגרה בעטיה של מחלה, בין בשל מלחמה שהפכה שגרה ומלאת אדישות, הלא היא המלחמה
בתאונות הדרכים ובין חלילה פנויים של נפגעי פעולות איבה. אלה העושים יום יום שעה שעה. היום, אנחנו בתווכה של המוזיקה, כשאנו שמחים
בשמחת החג, אומרים לכם העומדים בראש
ומנצחים על המלאכה, הרופאים, החובשים, הנהגים, אשר על הטלפון ואנשי התחזוקה. לכל
אחד ואחד. תודה מעומקה של נשמה.
You really did not think I will ignore those who do
not speak Hebrew. And I will not. Tonight we are celebrating. Us and You who came here from all over
the world, to celebrate The Feast of Tabernacle with us as partners, and sisters and brothers. We invite you tonight to join us in saying in
music and words thank you, to an entity that needs no introduction. To people whom we know we thank
but many a times just simply forget to tell them so, until, god forbid, we need
them.
So tonight the music is dedicated to Magen David Adom,
its chairman, directors, all those who mange and all those who are in the field. The Doctors, paramedics, drivers, those who
answer the phones, maintenance people, the volunteers, to what we all call bnot
hasherut haleumi, and those who keep it all working. The individuals; men and women who make this
organization what it is.

To those of you in Magen David Adom, One of them took cruel advantaged of his
name. Elli Yaffe. No relationship, but acts like a brother by
refusing to hear a “no”. And this he
learned from a very sophisticated businessman who left it all and decided to
dedicate his time to Magen David Adom Itzik Levi, whose dedication effects us all, and whose pressure is simply irresistible. These two, are truly, The nice Israel. To you Anat who worked so hard and to you
Israel who decided to be a Mitnachel in my office, invited or not.
And to you ladies and gentlemen, for being here and
for what you are about to do now. There
are cards on your chairs. Fill them in,
names, e-mails. And give it on the way out to the volunteers. Be members of the
friends of Magen David Adom wherever you are. Be there and think of yourself here for one more reason. Magen David Adom. They need your support, we need your
support. And you know what? You need your support. In words, deeds, and, oh yes, I almost
forgot, Dollars and cents.
